Deschutes Steelhead Camp
Before set up...

If you've ever been to my Deschutes Steelhead Camp, or maybe you've seen it while floating the lower river, you've probably wondered how the heck we get all that gear up the river. Well, here's my sled loaded up with all the tents, kitchen, groover, food and other gear.

"Piggy" would be a good way to describe how the boat runs when she's fully loaded, but it's worth hauling all the crap up there to have a very comfortable camp!

Thank You

Camp water was kind to Rich Kornbroth

We tore the tents down one last time yesterday and wrapped up the 2013 Deschutes Steelhead Camp season. A special thanks to everyone that fished with me this year... I truly appreciate your business and support!

Guided Fly Fishing

We are passionate about sharing our knowledge of the rivers we fish and instructing both single-handed casting and Spey casting. From late spring through fall we guide "fly fishing only" trips for steelhead and trout on the lower Deschutes River. In the spring, we love chasing trout from Maupin down to the river's confluence with the Columbia. By mid summer, we switch over to guiding our Deschutes River Steelhead Camps in the lower canyon via jet boat. During the winter months we spend my days hunting winter steelhead on the Sandy River, Clackamas River and Oregon North Coast Rivers.
