Every year I take a group of anglers to Andros Island in the Bahamas. The plan is to get some well deserved sun, relaxation and hopefully catch a bunch of big-ass bonefish.

While bones are our focus, it's not uncommon to see huge barracuda on the flats as well. If you like chasing big, toothy critters that can slam a fly with frightening speed, cuda fishing will turn your crank. -There's nothing like watching a barracuda pile drive a big streamer!

Join me in the Bahamas this April!

Come to the Bahamas!

Andros South Bonefish Larimer Trip
Big bonefish, warm weather, beautiful flats... Just what the doctor ordered.

I'm working on filling the remaining two spots for my hosted trip to Andros South Lodge in the Bahamas. -Our mission: To have mega fun in a beautiful place while chasing big bonefish, cuda and the occasional permit or tarpon.

After fishing at Andros for the past few seasons, I can tell you it is world class in every sense. -Few places offer as many shots at big bonefish. Plus, we fish from flats skiffs (not pongas) with some of the most talented saltwater guides in the Bahamas. Finally, the lodge is very comfortable and the food is great.

Andros South Bonefish Larimer Trip
Eye of the Tiger...

We’re halfway through a seven day Bahamas bonefish bender at Andros South and life is pretty darn good. Despite a front yesterday that made the fish a little funky, the fishing has been decent. At times, its been down right obscene. Plus, the big fish have been on the prowl. One angler in camp even managed to hang a 60 pound tarpon yesterday… Like I said, life is good.
