I've been fortunate enough to design a number of Spey lines for Airflo Fly Lines. The Skagit Compact, Skagit Switch, Skagit INT and the Rage Compact are all products of my fishing, guiding and teaching style. My focus for both Spey instruction and fly line design has always been on helping students become versatile and efficient anglers. After 15 years of instructing Spey casting and designing products, I have developed a teaching style that installs sound principles and proper technique. I guarantee you will walk away with the tools to become a better angler!
Private Spey Casting Instruction. (Hourly)
Private lessons can be tailored to your ability level and desire to learn specific techniques. Both beginners and experts will find taking a private lesson will accelerate their learning curve and dramatically improve their casting ability. All private lessons will be on the Hood River. (Maximum of three anglers please)
Cost per hour, one angler: $75.00
Cost per hour, two anglers: $110.00 ($55.00 per angler)
Cost per hour, three anglers: $135.00 ($45.00 per angler)

Full Day Private Casting Instruction. (8 hours)
My full day private lesson is tailored to anglers looking for the most advanced Spey casting class available. Full days are done via Jet boat on the Clackamas or Deschutes depending on water levels. Lunch included.
Cost per day, one angler: $495.00
Cost per day, two anglers: $695.00
Private lessons include transportation to and from a designated meeting sight. Spey rods and waders are available upon request prior to your trip.

Spey Casting Clinics (Group of five or six anglers)
If you have a group of five or six people, or are a fly shop looking to do a Spey Clinic, I offer a 4 hour clinic that can be tailored to a specific ability level. Additional travel expenses may apply.
