Deschutes River Steelhead Camps

Larimer Outfitters offers world class guided fly fishing camps for Deschutes River steelhead.

My Deschutes River Steelhead Camps are a pretty special deal… You wake up every morning in a breathtaking high desert canyon on one of the most remote stretches of the Deschutes. During your stay, you’ll fly fish some of the best steelhead water in the world. After a long day on the river, you can’t help to be in awe under the cathedral of stars in the desert sky.

I’ve built my guide business on Spey casting and fishing instruction –My steelhead camps focus on it. The lower Deschutes was built for Spey fishing. It's huge runs of fish combined with it's miles of seductive fly water make it one of the best rivers in the world for swinging flies with two-handed rods.

To access the 23 miles of amazing steelhead & trout water of the lower Deschutes Canyon, we’ll be travelling via jet boat. The jet boat gives me the ability to keep you in the best runs at the best time of the day. Plus, you’ll cover a ton of water over a long day of fishing.

My camp will be set-up prior to your arrival and used as a base camp to maximize your fishing time. Despite the fact that we’re in the wilderness, your stay will be very comfortable. I take great pride in having the best accommodations on the river! Additionally, my full time camp host will make sure your stay in the Deschutes Canyon is enjoyable.

With the world-class fishing of the Deschutes, stellar lodging and over 15 years of guiding experience, my Deschutes River Steelhead Camps are a great choice for your next fly fishing adventure.
