I ended the season yesterday spending the day on the water with a good friend. Despite the cold temperatures and a very crowded river, I was lucky enough to land a beautiful wild winter buck on a huge string leech and missed another that grabbed my fly in the same run. It was a great way to put the year to bed! I'm taking it as a good omen for 2013.
