I recently returned from filming Skagit Master 4 in the Great Lakes region. It was wonderful to reconnect with some of the rivers I once guided and fished. I also had the privilege of fishing and filming with a few of the best two-handed anglers in the Midwest including Dave Pinczkowski, Jeff Hubbard and Jay Niederstadt.

I was blown away by some of the techniques and flies that have developed in the area since I left eleven years ago. I’m really excited to try a few things the guys showed me here in the Northwest. In fact, we’ve talked about adding a chapter to the moving doing exactly that.

My hope for the movie is that viewers will walk away with a new appreciation for spey fishing in the Great Lakes and hopefully a refreshed view of how to swing flies regardless of where they fish. Look for Skagit Master 4 to be released in Spring of 2013.

OBD2 code readers have been widely used since the 1990s to diagnose defective oxygen sensors. The first generation of OBD, called as OBDI provided a simplistic test to determine the health of the oxygen sensor.
