Looped and ready to rumble...
Todays post is on building welded loops into 10' or 18' Airflo Custom Cut sink-tips.
Out of the package, the CCT's come with a welded, color coded loop (designating density) which attaches to your Skagit head. On the business end, you can cut the tip to the desired length and tie on a butt section. However, if you like having a welded loop on the leader end of your sink-tip, you're going to have to weld one. It's easier than you think and only takes about a minute.
-As a side note, don't try this with mono core sink-tips as the heat can damage the core breaking strength. Airflo is the only company using braided core material.
