Your trip will begin at Heritage Landing at the mouth of the Deschutes River in the
early afternoon.  Heritage is located about fifteen minutes east of The Dalles,
Oregon. From there, we ascend the river's amazing canyon in our 20' jet boats to a
campsite up river.  Many folks comment that the jet sled ride is worth the price of
admission alone!  We bash through five class III rapids as we climb up the
breathtaking, high desert canyon. The camp will be set up prior to your arrival by our
guides and camp host.

Our camp will be on a beautiful piece of steelhead water.  Despite the fact that we
are in the wilderness, our steelhead camp is very comfortable.  You'll be staying in a
large, four season tent with cots and sleeping pads.  A large dinning tent protects us
from the elements while cooking and dinning.  You will eat well during your stay.
Furthermore, we also provide a private solar shower.  Whenever possible, we try to
camp near one of the many clean outhouses.

You'll spend the following days Spey fishing the greatest summer steelhead river in
the Northwest.  Your days will begin fishing camp water with floating lines while
breakfast is prepared.  After a quick bite to eat, we head out in the jet boat to fish new
water.  As the sun rises in the sky, we'll switch over to sink-tips and larger flies.  We
fish hard until mid-day then return to camp for big lunch and a relaxing afternoon.
Most folks elect to grab a nap after lunch although camp water is fair game.
In the afternoon to evening, we head out in search of different pools.  Typically, we
head back to camp with enough time to fish our home pool.  We finish off the day
with a light dinner and cocktails under the desert sky.

The final morning of your stay, we fish until late morning and return to Heritage
Landing around 11:00am.   After spending a few days with one of our experienced
guides, we guarantee you will walk away a better angler.  Although we can't control
the attitude of the fish, the weather conditions, or the stream flows, we promise to do
the best with the elements we can control. This includes providing the best gear, the
best watercraft, incredible food, a kick-ass camp and the highest level of fishing
instruction in the industry.  Furthermore, we strive to give you a safe, relaxing,
memorable experience.
